This park has recently upgraded the site utilities, and most of the sites now have sewer, as well as water and electric. There are a number of very long pull-throughs. The park is very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space between sites. Most of the sites are quite shady. There is a marina in the park (not in the campground, but adjacent to it). You can sometimes catch the odor of the paper mill a few miles away, but it is not strong enough to be really objectionable. This park was a delight to stay at, and is easy to get to from I-95.

All of the facilities in the campground are in top shape. There is a heated pool, and even a waterslide (costs extra but looked like fun - we did not use it). Sites are large, with a choice of shade or sun. There are long pull-throughs available - ours was about 90 feet. We have a 40 foot motorhome with four slides, and there was plenty of room. The restrooms and showers were very clean, as was the laundry. The tent sites have roofs over the picnic tables, and there is a dishwashing sink at the restroom.

Park is in a lovely spot with mature plantings (a lot of shade), right on the river. (No view from most sites, but walking access). The people there were very friendly and helpful with suggestions about touring the area. The facilites are pretty old and could use some updating. The sites would be kind of tight if the campground was full (mostly empty when we were there). However, it was a beautiful spot and a good value; I would stay there again.

This park is in the process of converting to an ownership park. The new section, in the back, is currently ownership sites, but are available for nightly rentals. They are wide, with concrete pads. They are working on the landscaping, but currently, it is mostly dirt in this section. The pool is being built, but not done yet. There is a swimming pond. The older section, in front, has smaller sites but still worked OK with a 40 ft. motorhome with four slides. There are very pretty flowering trees in this section, but not really big enough to provide shade. It is set back from the road more than most of the neighboring RV parks, so it is nice and quiet. It is very convenient to both Moab and Arches NP. It is very clean and well-maintained; I would definably stay here again.

This is a nice, new park that is just far enough out of the city, yet close enough to be just a 10 minute drive to downtown Salt Lake. The sites are plenty wide, with concrete pads with an additional adjacent concrete area for car parking. The people are very nice, friendly and helpful. The showers/restrooms are the nicest I have ever seen in an RV park - each room is a separate bathroom, with toilet, sink and shower. There is a great lounge in the main building, with pool tables and a large screen TV, and big comfy sofas. There is grass between each site, and a table at each site. We did not use the pool, as it was closed for the season, but it looked nice. The only thing that might pose a problem is that it is quite near a refinery. Although we could see it, we did not notice any objectionably odors coming from it, although if the wind were blowing the wrong way, I think you might. If you ignore the refinery, the views were beautiful - mountains on 3 sides. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful and very clean small park right on the Chetco River. Many of the sites are taken up by seasonals, but there are a few that accommodate nightly usage. The "Premium" sites are riverfront and will accommodate large rigs (ours is 40 feet). There are also grassy tent sites. There is a large grassy lawn right on the river, with flowers and benches, that is available to everyone. This is in front of the Riverfront sites, but that was not a problem in any way. There is a picnic table at each site, and plenty of room for four slides. The owners could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The rate was under $30 with our AAA discount. We loved this park and would definitely stay there again.

This is a very clean and well-maintained park, with very easy access on and off of I-10. There is not a lot extra in the way of facilities, but the showers and laundry areas are clean and modern. There are plenty of pull-thru sites. Surface is mostly gravel, with a concrete patio at each site, and a small picnic table. There are small trees, but not big enough to provide much shade. Beautiful views of the mountains.

A beautiful park, as others have noted. Many sites have views of the lake, great mountain views as well. They have two large and well-maintained boat ramps. There are some nice hiking trails. The only problem is that the park is first-come, first-serve - when you pay at the gate, you then have to drive around to find a site. The park was pretty full when we pulled in, so we grabbed the first site we saw open (which was very nice). A little later, we saw several folks driving around looking for sites. I assume they do not let in more people than they have sites available, but it could be a little nerve wracking having to drive all over the various roads looking for the one or two sites that are left.

This is a very nice park with large shady sites. It is in an older (semi-industrial) part of town, but the park itself is lovely. Everything is very clean and well maintained, and the owner is very friendly and helpful with local information. They also have a storage yard out front where we left our coach over the winter; we felt it was very safe there. I would definitely stay there again if I was in Las Cruces.
